Soda Pumpkins!

Happy Friday!

Crafting is not a hobby, it's a lifestyle!

Crafters craft whenever they can, right?   So when I signed up to bring drinks to a fall festival...this is what they got!!  lol

The face is cut from black cardstock, a little glue to fasten the pieces and a tag created with Joy's Life Halloween Puns stamps!  I coiled some strips of green cardstock and tied it on with some baker's twine!  It literally took just 6 minutes to complete one bottle!  super fun, super easy!

I hope you liked today's project & it inspires you to 'dress-up' your soda bottles for your next party!

Check out all Joy's Life stamps HERE!

Have a fantastic weekend!

Burned Paper Bag Leaves - Joy's Life

Happy Friday!

Tomorrow Autumn begins!  It will soon be time for all the lovely colors of the season to make an appearance on the surrounding trees!

Until then...I decided to make my own colorful leaves!
Joy's Life clear sentiment stamps

Burned paper bag leaves technique...

Simply spread a generous amount of Aleene's Tacky Glue over a paper bag.  Using your heat gun, dry the glue. (It will bubble, burn & smoke a bit)

You can RECYCLE your lunch bags too for this technique!

When the glue is dry, it will be shiny & have a fun texture.  Using an archival ink, stamp your leaves.

I rubbed some alcohol ink over the leaf images before cutting them out!  easy peasy!!

In fact, it was so easy, I created a few cards to share with friends!

I hope you enjoyed my project today!  If you try this technique, be sure to show it off at my weekly linky party, Inspire Me Fridays!
All Crafts Welcome!
Have a beautiful day!

fall stamps, love these!!

I fired up my Cricut & used the FREE cart offered in CCR, Cricut.com's Craft Room, to weld together this sweet little onesie.

Joy's Life pumpkin & sentiment,

You could easily use these stamps on a real onesie with fabric inks or paints for your fall baby!  too cute!

Shabby Burlap Wreath!

Happy Friday!

How about some fall decor today?!

Here is my very first wreath!

This was super easy but VERY messy!  I was covered in burlap fuzz when I finished.

Here's what you'll need:
2 yds of burlap fabric, cut into 1 1/2 inch strips.
various lengths: 13 - 16 inches

Styrofoam wreath ring, 14 inch.
Ribbon for bow & other embellishments.

Rustic pumpkin stamped & embossed
with Joy's Life fall stamps,
(It's All Fall)
Reverse side!

Simply tie each burlap strip around the wreath ring, alternating lengths.  Pull your knots tightly & bunch together for fullness.
Give it a try, I think you'll be pleased!

I'm part of a wonderfully talented group of Ladies who are showcasing beautiful Autumn Wreaths today!  Come be inspired!
